Two months ago, the Daily Caller published a pretty definitive report showing Jerome Corsi helped defraud his audience out of $25,000 to help a phony cancer patient get treatment from a nonexistent doctor. Have any authorities looked into this yet? dailycaller.com/2018/12/13/cor…
Like, it’s not a complicated case. The doctor doesn’t exist. The supposed “patient” registered the fake website for the doctor’s nonexistent clinic. Corsi claimed the imaginary doctor was a miracle worker who had treated a family member. Corsi’s listeners coughed up $25,000.
The press has basically done all the work here. All some prosecutor has to do is find the “patient” and mop up.
This is weird, right? A slam-dunk, uncomplicated, old-fashioned con, to the tune of $25,000, is exposed in a national publication and... nothing happens?
Also, has @GoFundMe done anything to investigate this apparent use of their platform to con their users out of $25,000?
