Pls follow the thread!
Today, tomorrow and for the rest of this week, maybe even the entire month of March, all eyes and mouth will be on election results and aftermath of victory for the winning party..
Regardless of what the result might be, one thing I will not do is stopping my life!.
I have read countless tweets from people promising to run to CANADA or the US if Buhari wins again. I want to run too, but the truth is that not many people have the funds to run.
Some do not have the wherewithal to pass IELTS exams, or
....meet up with certain obligations required to leave Nigeria right now.
If like me, you have no immediate plan to leave this country, please fasten your seatbelt and get ready to take charge of your life regardless of who emerges!
There are people and companies that will do well in this same Nigeria, whether Atiku wins or not, because their business does not revolve around the government in power. In the same vein, there are also other people and companies waiting for results to emerge before ....
... Planing on how to lobby and fraternise with the new government so they can have business.
Not all of them will succeed and it's quite a dangerous venture I must say.
Just like Buhari in 2015, Atiku comes with lot of promises and hope, but I won't wait on it. If I can't run, at least I can face my life squarely.
There is no prize for who defended Buhari or others most on social media. At the end of the day, it's all for bragging rights
What so ever your hand finds to do, do it well
Finally, hold on to your faith and dreams, pray to God too.
Even under worse governments many people found a way to succeed. We can too! and we must be prepared to succeed.
I am prepared are you?
