Findings that ignited a dismissive review included:

The #Forensicator proposed a scenario where a FAT-formatted media (e.g., USB thumb drive) was written while in a location where CST settings were in force. This was then transported to a location w/ EST settings.
"This was controversial at the time, because it advanced the idea that #Guccifer2 (or a member of G2’s team) was (physically) operating out of the Central Time Zone (US).
"Further, it suggested that a USB thumb drive may have been used to effect an “air gap” transfer (a technique used to avoid surveillance and detection)."

"Based on recent information, the case in favor of #Forensicator’s findings has strengthened. "

1/ something new on metadata of Wikileaks DNC emails. Hard to imagine that it's been overlooked so long. Result checks out from my spot checks. Binney and Larry Johnson report that DNC emails have FAT format and in three batches

2/ FAT metadata saves timestamps only in even seconds 10:30, 10:32 etc. It is used on thumbdrives, while hard-drives timestamp to nanoseconds. I downloaded a couple of DNC emails (using wget in CMD to preserve timestamp) and spot checked that it was so. It was.
3/ they observed that Podesta emails were NOT in FAT format i.e. the FAT format did not appear to result from Wikileaks operations

Forensicator observed that displayed timestamps of comment insertion and of document save for the two Guccifer documents with Track Changes implied that G2 computer set on Pacific Time (-07:00).

2/ There's another puzzle with June 30 documents. The Wordpress upload timestamp of dws-az-op-ed-comparison-doc_lm.docx was 2016-06-30 02:53:06Z, while (exif) document save timestamp was (impossibly) almost 7 hours later(!) 2016-06-30 10:23:00Z.
3/ this can occur (and this may be only way) if G2 computer were manually set 7 hours FORWARD from true time. I.e. it was manually set to read UTC, while time zone setting remained in Pacific (-07:00). Not true of all dates, but this appears to be the case for June 30 uploads.

Duncan Campbell's article in ComputerWeekly about Adam Carter, while purporting to combat disinformation, is rife with inaccuracies, falsehoods and disinformation. He falsely stated that timestamps examined by Forensicator "present only" in London documents.
2/ This is trivial to rebut. Corresponding timestamps are present in zipfile posted by G2 in October 2016 guccifer2.wordpress.com/2016/10/04/cli… (which I discussed guccifer2.wordpress.com/2016/10/04/cli…). Corresponding timestamps also present in zipfile posted on June 21, 2016 guccifer2.wordpress.com/2016/06/21/hil…
3/ rather than Forensicator advocating, supposedly without evidence, that timestamps proved "theft by local copying", as claimed by Campbell, it was opposite. Forensicator provided a careful exegesis of metadata that is unaffected by Indictment information

2/ MISDepartment was in Chicago, with an office/connections in Washington. MISDepartment were Bernie bros. They were bullied out of DNC by Crowdstrike and then imploded. Website and webpages gone by July. Motive, opportunity for DNC hack/leak and to misdirect to avoid detection

I think we will look back at 2017 and see it as the year the #WordPress project started to fracture. As much as the community desperately wants to see WordPress as an enterprise CMS, projects like #Gutenberg show it is anything but.
Gutenberg is a phenomenal piece of software and everyone involved in it should be proud of what they have achieved. But we also shouldn't be afraid to call it what it is. It's a move toward WordPress being a site builder.
It's a shift away from fellow PHP-based CMSs like @CraftCMS, #EE, @statamic, @getgrav, @grabaperch, @drupal and the countless other custom-field based CMSs out there. It's a move away from one of the key features of a real enterprise ready CMS. Native structured content.
