Break: George Eustice resigns as DEFRA minister over the Article 50 extension vote: "We must have the courage, if necessary, to reclaim our freedom first and talk afterwards".
By my count: Eustice is the 12th minister to resign and the 27th to quit their Govt or party job over Brexit - all since June 2018 (12 ministers, 11 PPSs, 4 vice chairs).
Here's a fact: the same amount of ministers have now resigned under May for all reasons (25) in two and a half years as under Thatcher in 11 years.
Major had 23 in 6 years
Blair 29 in 10 years
Brown 17 in 3 years
