Putin prefers to use extreme right groups because he can tap into well-organized structures, preexisting patriotic rhetoric & an ideological desire for a nationalist dictatorship.

How do we combat Putin's tactics?
1) We reaffirm our support for liberal democracy as the single most important policy goal to our interests.
2) We make common cause w/those we disagree w/on other issues.
3) We must #VOTE against Putin's ideologically extreme puppets. 8/8
