The North Korean ask for sanctions relief as a "corresponding measure" for closing Yongbyon should have surprised no one. A short thread.
After the Singapore Summit, the PRC MOFA indicated that @UN Security Council-imposed sanctions should be adjusted.

Official Chinese statements can be a bit elliptical, but the meaning was clear enough after the US tried to strengthen sanctions enforcement after Singapore. China and Russia said no, making it clear that North Korea should be rewarded.

After Singapore, North Korean state media released multiple articles explaining that North Korea now deserved to have sanctions removed. This statements were very specific. Here are just three of many examples, from the August time period.
Then China and Russia made another run at sanctions relief at the UN this past fall. China, Russia and North Korea even released a trilateral statement in October calling for sanctions relief now.

I think I know what this means. Now it's a race to task a bird.

There are reports about a secret North Korean nuclear facility at a place called Bungang (분강). Here's the thing: Bungang (or more commonly Pun'gang) is just another name for the place we call Yongbyon. A short thread follows.

Pun’gangni-nodongjagu or the Pun'gang-ni Workers District (39.806667, 125.743056) is what the North Koreans used to call the place where the Yongbyon Nuclear Complex is located. The town of Yongbyon is actually further away. (These places are all in Yongbyon County.)
While the North Koreans use "Yongbyon" today, you can see that early defectors used to call it Bungang or Pungang. It's the same place.

This statement is false and should be corrected.
North Korea "shuttered" Yongbyon as a result of negotiations in 1994-2003, 2007-2009 and offered to do so again in 2012.
And before anyone tries to exploit the ambiguity of colloquialism "shuttered."

Il paraît que la France a un problème de répartition des richesses. C'est une fake news rabâchée en permanence. La France est le pays le plus redistributif du monde. Et la part des salaires dans la valeur ajoutée des entreprises est aussi parmi les plus élevées du monde.
Mais les salariés ne perçoivent qu’un tiers des sommes versées par les entreprises. Les deux tiers restant étant ponctionnés par l’Etat et « redistribués » justement. Le vrai problème de la France, et très largement nié, c'est que son économie ne crée pas suffisamment de richesse
Faible taux de population active, notamment à cause du chômage des jeunes et des retraites trop précoces. L'un se nourrissant de l'autre, contrairement à la théorie du partage du travail défendue par la gauche. Les 35h et leurs RTT, ne font évidemment qu'aggraver les choses.

On parlait transport et surtout, retraitement du combustible usé.

Et aujourd'hui, on va ouvrir en re-faisant un bilan matière.
Au départ est l'uranium naturel, que la France importe à hauteur d'environ 8000 tML.
Conversion, centrifugation, on en tire 1075 tML de combustible et le reste c'est de l'uranium appauvri qu'on entrepose.

L’histoire débute il y a quelques jours. Nous préparons un voyage au Portugal fin Octobre et en checkant les passeports, bim, le mien est périmé.
Bon, c’était le 10 septembre, il y a de la marge. Mais soyons prévoyant : mon dernier passeport avait mis 3 semaines à être produit, et c’est cohérent avec les délais indiqués en ligne (grosso modo un mois).
