N Korea is doing a PR tap dance right now.

They thought POTUS needed to come away with something. Someone told them that the president was 'desperate' because of 'trouble back home'.

Big Mistake.

2) They made an offer that was both honest AND easy to refuse. They assumed the president was 'pliable'. Instead, he walked and they were STUNNED. They were expecting some sanction relief.

3) Instead they get none, and this throws their immediate future into chaos. Kim definitely wants the Trump plan to work; they know the DS has far more ominous plans if they don't cooperate.

4) POTUS is wisely playing the DS scenario against his path to prosperity, and knows the NK's are between a rock and a hard place. They also know about the 'Art of the Deal'.

5) Classic negotiating tactics.

'Be prepared to walk'. This after going halfway around the world to meet them. You are seeing world class statesmanship on display as the N Koreans now scramble to schedule more talks ASAP...
