Is this just the kind of thing you write when a think tank piper calls the tune on your work? There's nothing small government conservative about either Trump's extremely vague bleatings or what the authors endorse.
As a dispositional (though not ideological) conservative, I'm disturbed by the willingness of small government conservatives to throw aside their conservative dispositions to get behind Trump policies that are so ill-conceived and pure campaign propaganda.
