Tavistock’s own website states GnRHa treatment ‘is deemed reversible’. But this assertion is in direct contradiction to their own research protocol for their own study, obtained by Michael Biggs, through his FOI request.
Which says...‘It is not clear what the long term effects of early suppression may be on bone development, height, sex organ development, and body shape and their reversibility if treatment is stopped during pubertal development’
Since 2014, 800 adolescents under 18, have been given puberty blockers, including 230 under 14 years old. Those taking experimental life altering drugs are deserving of cast iron evidence to show that it is effective in treating their gender dysphoria, and does no harm.
Yet, this study from the Tavistock is yet to be published? Data however, unearthed by @ Michael Biggs is deeply concerning – ‘There were three negative changes. ‘Natal girls showed a significant increase in behavioural and emotional problems’ ......
...and parents report ‘a significant decrease in Physical well-being of their child’. Most disturbingly - ‘after a year on blockers, ‘a significant increase was found in the first item “I deliberately try to hurt or kill self”’
The efficacy of giving puberty blockers for GD is clearly in question – Puberty blockers are given to alleviate feelings of gender dysphoria but ‘the suppression of puberty does not impact positively on the experience of gender dysphoria’ .
