NEW: Michael Flynn's lawyers have asked to continue delaying his sentencing until the EDVA case involving his former business partners is done. Mueller's office isn't taking a position, and say that while he could testify or cooperate more, "his cooperation is otherwise complete"
In case you don't remember, Flynn was supposed to be sentenced on Dec. 18, but decided to push it back after the judge wondered aloud if Flynn wasn't hurting his own position by doing it before he was 100% done with his cooperation buzzfeednews.com/article/zoetil…
Just in: The next status report in Michael Flynn's case is due June 14. Earlier this week (see above thread), Flynn's lawyers asked to continue delaying sentencing until he's totally done with any cooperation with the government

Rosenstein in his remarks says that no attorney general's tenure "goes exactly as planned ... Jeff Sessions stayed true to his values." Later, he says that an AG's success is measured by accomplishments, not length of service

In November, we FOIA'd DOJ for all of the versions of financial disclosure forms that then-acting AG Matthew Whitaker submitted. I got a response today: DOJ is withholding 14 draft reports (7 for the annual report, and 7 for the new entrant report) assets.documentcloud.org/documents/5776…
You may recall that the final versions of Whitaker's 2018 financial disclosures that were made public indicated that revisions had been made on five occasions, see:
DOJ is withholding the drafts under two exemptions under FOIA: One for internal agency comms protected by the deliberative process privilege, and one for invasion of personal privacy

1. Note the date: the confidential files with evidence were leaked in October 2018.
2. The Twitter account has been removed. It's old news. There is nothing discrediting to Mueller's investigation in the fact that the Russians stole the files. If anything, it confirms that, yes, Russians hack.

NEW: In a court filing, federal prosecutors in Manhattan confirm that President Trump's personal attorney, Michael Cohen, "is under criminal investigation."
Prosecutors say Cohen "is being investigated for criminal conduct that largely centers on his personal business dealings," and he has "exceedingly few clients" whose privileged communications might have been seized during the FBI's search.
DOJ: Federal magistrate judge authorized a search of Cohen's office, residence, hotel room, safety deposit box and electronics because "there was probable cause to believe that Cohen’s premises and devices contained evidence, fruits and instrumentalities" of federal crimes.

We see how he works if we look at how he ran his 2nd most important investigation as FBI Director. In Sept 2011, an entity began mailing anthrax through the USPS, hitting such prominent targets as NBC & Senator Daschle’s office. The terrorist attacks killed 5 & left others

#New PA cong. map increases D chance of winning the House majority by 4%. They only need a 6.8% generic ballot margin now (down from 7.7) to be favored.

Diff. will be closer to 10% in Nov when uncertainty from polls is ⬇️. Redraw is a very big deal.

One major reason the new PA map is such a big gain for Democrats is that it solidifies, not just tips, PA districts in Philly burbs. Also creates one additional vulnerable R district. (Easily seen in this map made by @JMilesColeman)
My forecasting model will have new PA map in the near future. This is not just a simple switch; it’s a coding redesign, restructuring of input, & drawing new geographic files. Takes a while (for me, a student).
