All eyes on DC federal court today where Paul #Manafort is in a sentencing hearing, the second one in less than a week. Judge Amy Berman Jackson said he gave intentionally false statements. Mueller team prosecutor said his crimes undermine US political process, report @CNN.
“I am sorry for what I have done”—#Manafort tells court he’s “ashamed “of his conduct and is now a “different person,” with “new self-awareness.” He pleaded with Judge to remain with wife. (Funny he’s changed so much…from just a few days ago in a different courtroom.)
Judge ABJ now directly refutes "otherwise blameless life," saying Manafort's crimes were not isolated incidents, but he's made a career of gaming the system. A career white-collar criminal, in effect.
🔥Judge ABJ: "The non-collusion mantra is simply a nonsequitor," slamming #Manafort's attorneys for bringing up "no collusion." She's saying she recognizes they're trying to score political points by repeating Trump's propaganda talking point about Russia. She's not buying it.
#BREAKING Judge sentences #Manafort to 73 months on 2 counts—43 months consecutive to EDVA sentence. So that adds another nearly 4 years to Judge Ellis' sentence of nearly 4 years (per star reporter & tweeter par excellence @ZoeTillman)

CNN plays with fire giving propagandists like @CortesSteve a platform. He contorts language, distorts facts & gaslights reality—to defend clear threats of violence. These propaganda tactics by Trump & defenders to downplay obvious abhorrent behavior is unacceptable & dangerous.
.@DavidJUrban is another gaslighting propagandist on @CNN, saying WE’re hysterical to hear thinly veiled threats in Trump’s words to Breitbart. Urban says WE just take Trump “out of context.” And WE’re “irresponsible” for seeing a threat. Again, bullshit & dangerous propaganda.
Now it’s Kellyanne. Every hour another Trump propagandist defends his vile & violent language on @CNN. Did the media learn anything from the 2016 election?? Propaganda works when repeated. CNN gives a platform to repeat *AND defend it! For the public good, PLEASE ditch them—stat.

I’ll be awake and will note if it comes in, but I suspect we won’t be seeing it tonight for the reasons @ZoeTillman gives —>
And, it's now past midnight with no sentencing memo filing.

So, as @ZoeTillman wrote, it is most likely that the special counsel's office "filed under seal, and once a redacted version is okay'd we'll get it."
So, what does that mean? Well, my best guess is that I doubt the court is working now, so, I wouldn’t expect that we’ll see it until during the daylight hours on Saturday or even Monday.

Manafort transcript unsealed tonight in which DC District Court Judge Amy Berman Jackson rules that Trump campaign chair Paul Manafort lied intentionally after entering a plea agreement:
p.10: “My concern isn’t with non-answers or simply denials but times he affirmatively advanced a detailed alternative story that was inconsistent with the facts.”
p. 11: Judge then says Manafort’s claims about his declining health in prison were simply asserted by his lawyers with no effort to back the claims up with any support.

Judge: “It left the impression that the issue was left in the pleading for public consumption, but not mine.”

PAUL MANAFORT & SPECIAL COUNSEL have reached a plea deal, per a criminal information filed in DC. he's pleading guilty to conspiracy against US and conspiracy to obstruct justice.
manafort is due in DC federal court at 11am, where judge amy berman jackson still has to accept the deal. it's also still unclear if he is going to cooperate with robert mueller's team.
can you imagine being the jurors in manafort's alexandria case? you spend 3 weeks of your life on this only for him to plead guilty less than a month later.
