This piece by Rep Omar covers various topics. But the portion on Israel-Palestine is a quite conventional and strong statement of the center-left two state approach. It’s one I support and I’d say a great number of American Jews do as well. washingtonpost.com/opinions/ilhan…
2/ it’s a very carefully considered and worded take.
3/ One thing that is clear on a close read is the different audiences addressed. She's careful to state that her view is at least nominally consensus US foreign policy (two states, etc.) and also consensus of the Israeli security establishment.

The idea that Democrats are showing fear or a lack of press openness by rejecting Fox is silly. And journalists making this argument are being silly themselves. Hosting a debate isn’t a matter of press access. It’s an institutional collaboration.

3/ debate is bizarre. Why not have the Wisconsin GOP run one of the Democrats national debates? It’s more comparable than you think. It would be fine to have say Chris Wallace as a questioner or even moderator for a debate.

Anti-Semitism predates Israel, predates the Holocaust, predates the Inquisition, the Crusades, the Romans. It has been a persistent drumbeat throughout history. Those who use the most-modern excuses to hate or scapegoat Jews are simply another beat in an ancient rhythm.
Anti-Semitism is the most ancient of conspiracy theories, one that adapts to every era. From right to left, anti-Semitism seeks out Jews, defines them as a power far beyond their real numbers, then denies them humanity, nationhood, legitimacy, and in many cases life itself.
Those who believe Israel should be condemned above all nations, who are ignorant of history beyond the latest headline, should take a look at the words being used to condemn “Zionism” and see them in context of a long line of excuses to keep anti-Semitism alive.

1) 1⃣ is the date itself: March 4, 2004

This date is notable for a few reasons.

It's about a year & a half before Browder was barred in Russia.

It's also just a few months after the arrest of Mikhail Khodorkovsky.

So -- who is Khodorkovsky and it does it matter?
2) Mikhail Khodorkovsky was at one point (2003 or so) the richest man in Russia, after he built up Yukos in Russia's 2nd largest oil producer..

In @Billbrowder's book Red Notice, he describes the day of Khodorkovsky's arrest.
