Donna Brazile -- she of the question-leaking scandal at CNN -- has joined Fox News as a contributor: variety.com/2019/tv/news/d… Here's her preemptive spin: 
That is very much the standard-issue defense of doing business with Fox News as a Democrat/liberal.
Whereas I once credited this way of thinking, it seems increasingly hollow and cliche. Yes, we do need to talk to those with whom we disagree, but does that reckoning have to happen on the premises of Fox News?
One thing's for sure: Having people like Brazile on the payroll is critical to the Fox News claim that it's an evenhanded news org -- even though in its key time slots, it spreads hatred and Trump sycophancy in copious helpings.
