There aren't many people I choose to unfollow on this here Twitter machine. I have a pretty high tolerance for BS. Bernie has just hired two people who I unfollowed a few months ago because I couldn't take their BS (which I perceived to be in bad faith) anymore.
I'm keeping an open mind on everything pertaining to the 2020 primary. All I'm saying is, these are the only two progressive tweeters I've ever found so insufferable that I had to unfollow them.
And to be precise, what bothered me was that they seemed far more invested in eviscerating other progressives than building a broad-based movement capable of defeating the GOP.

There exists one possible future in which Mar-a-Lago “lock her up chants” are remembered much as we today remember Marie Antoinette’s “let them eat cake.”
There also exists a future in which school children learn about “lock her up” the way I was taught about “Give me liberty or give me death.”
It’s up to the current generation of voters and political leaders to determine what sort of future we will inhabit, and how the story of our current moment will be told.

The release of the Mueller report is like a near death experience where everyone shows their deepest self. Goldberg, of course, is already talking about how nutso "the left" is going to be before, well, anyone on "the left" has actually done or said anything.
I'll stick my neck out here on Twitter to predict that almost no elected Democrats will respond as Goldberg predicts, and that neither will journalists and opinion writers at well-established liberal outlets.
Will a few Twitter randos on the left do so? Of course. And will National Review write an article about them and how unhinged "the left" is and how little respect they have for the rule of law and so I guess we'd better just support Trump in 2020? 99.9% yes.

Trump is going to keep demanding ever more party-line-toeing obedience from Fox News. They have the choice between buckling to his ratcheted up demands for "loyalty," or telling the truth. He will 100% throw them under the bus if he decides he doesn't need them anymore.
And this is where tweets like this come in. For a while now Trump and his surrogates have been boosting journalists and media outlets to the right of Fox and with even more lax standards than Fox.
Whether it be OANN (who at one point employed Corey Lewandowski, disgraced former campaign manager for Trump) or some other currently seat-of-the-pants operation, the Trump puppets in the media have enough clout to bring their audience from Fox to some other outlet.

according to a december SEC filing, they lost 90% of their subscribers after the synagogue shooting in october & that's on top of being down over $160k just in the first 6mo of 2018. they were hemorrhaging money long before they lost their payment processor.

a thing i said to daria earlier was "if society wasn't such fucking garbage you wouldn't have anxieties over your surgery outcome because people would constantly be talking about the problems they have with their bodies" but it applies to so many people
i had a thread some months ago about how it's just really normal for people with "working" dicks and testosterone to not orgasm from sex. it's also normal for people with natal vaginas to not be able to have sex at all, I have known several people with that condition.
it's never pleasant to have your body not work the way you want, but society seems intent on making sure *everyone* thinks that if your body isn't working the way you want, it and you are ruined and worthless
