1) #Brexit - a story
28 people have arranged to go to the match followed by a curry in a few months time

1 of them however can't decide if they want to go to the match, and really they want to go for an Italian even though they agreed to, & everyone else likes, a curry

2) this 1 person also might only have a starter, he's not sure & has at the last minute asked for more time to decide, even though the tickets for the match are selling out & the other 27 have to make arrangements, but can't even decide on how much time he needs to decide

3) now no one in their right mind would side with this one person. He's being indecisive, selfish & is risking the whole event for the other 27. He's out of order.

Yet millions of people will attack the EU27 as dictators & bullies when they don't agree to the UK acting this way

4) common decency, respect, meeting promises - behavior we would teach a 5 year old we throw out of the window when it comes to demanding our own way with 27 other countries.

We're happy to leave them dangling indefinitely & get angry when they wont

5) Ultimately you're going to be 1 of 2 kinds of people:
You're either going to put yourselves in the shoes of the EU27 and be embarrassed by our behaviour

Or you're going to be outraged that the EU27 won't extend for as long as we want without any plan on how we get a decision
