The Guardian view on the PM is savage yet probably reflects the majority view in the House of Commons. Eyes mostly on Brussels today, but the real question is whether in the next few days the Commons can stop her from overriding their view
This also makes truly awful reading - in many cases long standing friends of the UK from across Europe in despair at what has happened here - and this reflects my own experiences - from across the EU and the political spectrum theguardian.com/politics/2019/…
In her actions yesterday the PM ignored the large vote against her deal and no deal and in favour of an extension (understood to be long if needed) then recklessly attacked MPs for the mess 99% of her own making
Perhaps there are a few diehard no-deal or revoke / remain MPs who see next week as the chance to achieve what they really want. But you would hope most on all sides recognise the danger of an outcome to which Parliament objects - and will act accordingly
