"In the trendy Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle, WeWork will open an office in October at 1525 11th Ave. The five-floor office will have 1,350 desks." That building is ~70,000 square feet, so that's ~ 52 square feet per desk.

2. Emerging tech platforms: @moxiworks is creating a platform similar to @UpstreamRE (without the single listing input concept). Whether one or both platforms are successful, integration of broker data tools is becoming a reality. All hail open platforms and APIs. #proptech
3. Simplicity: @Homesnap has made digital marketing exponentially easier for listing agents. It's not just how quickly you can create ads and budget on FB, IG, Google, Waze. The secret sauce is the analytics in the reports you can show your sellers. #proptech

Good read on WeWork.

Beyond the co-working aspect, they are automating the process of designing/constructing new spaces. Construction is a multi-trillion dollar industry ripe for tech disruption, and WeWork is positioning itself in an interesting spot.

Automating WeWork's co-working model is important when thinking about how real estate works:

High fixed costs (take on debt, pay admin costs, insurance, etc), charge rent, make ~6-12% cash flow margin.

A decent amount of rent increase is incremental cash flow though.

So tomorrow marks the one-year anniversary that @SciMarchSeattle organizer @SciSwany physically assaulted me as she prevented me from leaving my own house.
Back on January 5th, at the peak of harassment from @SciSwany and her friends, I contacted @SciMarchSeattle to let them know about what one of their co-founders was doing.
I had told one of the other @SciMarchSeattle cofounders about @SciSwany chasing me out of and around the house on multiple occasions. August 2016. October 2016. January 2017. February 2017. One of the most notable assaults came on March 30th, 2017.
