This study uses a different survey (the European Values Survey, instead of the WVS), which samples 18 countries multiple times over 15 years. On a ten-point scale, respondents were asked “How satisfied are you with the way
democracy works in [your country]?"
Pretty satisfied!

(Yes, you're reading that right. Millennials are the *most* satisfied with democracy, not the least).

Here's another breakdown of satisfaction levels by age. The trend is clear, no?
Lastly, one might respond that these figures conceal a more recent turn against democracy, especially amongst the very young (18-24 yo). But again, the data does not cooperate. Young people are STILL the most supportive of democracy, and it isn't even close.
tl;dr: When fascism comes to Europe, it will be wrapped in a shawl and carrying a bottle of cholesterol medication.
