It's true that the atheist's best chance to disprove God is to demonstrate that the very idea of God is logically impossible. But the author fails miserably. I could have articulated this argument better and I'm a theist.
If you're going with the "God is logically impossible" line, then your best hope is to try to find logical contradictions between God's various qualities, which the author doesn't even attempt.
For instance, you could try to argue that omnipotence can't coexist with omniscience because if God knows everything then he knows what he is going to do in the future and therefore can't not do what he knows he will do.
This at least is interesting and does cause the theist to stop and ponder. But the problem with this argument -- which is better than any argument this atheist philosopher presented -- is that God exists outside of time and so there is no such thing as a future event for him
