1/ Everyone agrees Mueller not finding 90% proof of *conspiracy* in criminal law doesn't eliminate the NatSec threat posed by unexplained evidence (up to 89%) of conspiracy. Everyone agrees that not finding 90% proof of *conspiracy* means *nothing* for *non-conspiracy collusion*.
2/ @LesterHoltNBC—a news anchor—just disagreed with Comey on what it means when a prosecutor "doesn't establish [beyond a reasonable doubt]" a given crime. Comey ran the FBI for years. That's where we're at—a news anchor disagreeing with an FBI agent...on a law enforcement issue.
3/ If journalists want to know why journalism is dying on the vine, it's that *they* are the ones telling right-wingers you don't need to be an expert on anything. @LesterHoltNBC can disagree with @Comey on LAW ENFORCEMENT. @McKayCoppins—a blogger—can disagree with me on THE LAW.
4/ Expertise still matters. The opinion of a blogger *as to the law* can be ignored if you have a lawyer on tap (let alone scores of lawyers, online and off); the opinion of a news anchor can be ignored *as to a law enforcement question* when you're talking to an ex-FBI Director.
