As recent DOS numbers preview, this reg could usher in BIG, BIG changes.

A ruling on the #RemaininMexico (#MPP) preliminary injunction.

The proposed H-4 EAD regulation.

This regulation will end employment authorization for spouses of certain H-1B holders. Currently, around 90,000 (mostly females) participate.

4 outstanding decisions from immigration cases the Attorney General self-certified.

Two were referred by former-AG Jeff Sessions (bond for asylum seekers, persecutor bar)
Two by former acting-AG Whitaker (family unit as an asylum social group, cancellation of removal)

The proposed regulation expanding the Attorney General's referral power.

In addition to VERY actively using the Attorney General's power to self-certify immigration cases (see migrationpolicy.org/article/sessio…), the admin will propose a VAST expansion of the power ⬇️
