You can see the sense in this, but the notion of implication doesn't seem to have much effect on MPs right now. They're more concerned with what's in front of them and answering to their base on how they voted on it.
So the fact that we'd take part in European elections can be waved away as the fault of May's weakness, or Remainers. But the vote on the deal is personal.
Anyway I refuse to give a fuck about any of this right now. But tomorrow will clearly be another day of hell, at the end of which we'll end up exactly where we started.
