1/ Important news. Vote Leave, the official Leave campaign, has dropped its appeal against the multiple findings of criminal conduct by the Electoral Commission relating to the 2016 Referendum
2/ If these kind of offences, which are now indisputable, were committed by a candidate for a general election the election result would undoubtedly have been overturned. It’s only because the 2016 Referendum had inadequate legal protections that we are where we are today
3/ Whatever happens with Brexit a public inquiry should be launched to understand what went wrong and how to stop it happening again.
