This story about Biden acting creepy with a female politician in 2014 is notable mostly because it gives the woman's side of something we've seen him do dozens of times on video. thecut.com/2019/03/an-awk…
And he and his people aren't even gesturing in the direction of questioning her account.
And of course the flipside of that is that there's nothing even vaguely resembling an apology in the statement, either.
Hard to imagine that Biden thinks he's going to be able to run for president without apologizing for this behavior.
(By "this behavior," I don't mean just this specific incident. I mean the many, many other times he's done stuff like this as well.)
This is the first Democratic presidential primary of the Me Too era. He's going to be asked about this over and over and over, and not just from reporters—he's going to get the questions at town halls, at coffee shops, everywhere.
I don't know that there's an answer he can give that will slow those questions down, but what his spokesperson said today is pretty obviously going to have the opposite effect.
