in each area, in each society, there are 'stooges' ready to do the bidding...so they are 'deniable' 'fronts' or cut outs' who they can fund via think tanks, billionaire foundations, offshore trusts out of reach of regulators @carolecadwalla
it needs 'popular front people' (often celebrities) to front up its efforts - people with a loyal following who parrot whatever their hero says. It taps into the understandable anti-establishment sentiment (fuelled often by corruption, jobs4mates, contracts for the boys culture)
it knows it has the social media attack tools to weaponise hate against the '4 areas' - military-style psychometric profiling, targetting of people who already holds these views. These are the expendable foot soldiers of this vile revolution. They vote for it, or yellow jacket it
They know the messages to enrage them: all simplified: 'gangs are targetting our kids and XXX is defending them' (the obvious one), but there are many more. They promote anti-science, anti-facts, anti-evidence ideas - 'its all lies' @peterjukes
It uses the classic tactics of 'Deflection' (we did not do it our opponent did) 'Distraction' (say or do something utterly repulsive over here and we do what we like while media looks away), 'Gaslighting' lies so huge (Joseph Goebels style) that people question their own sanity
They teach their foot soldiers how to do it and train them (Generation Identity summer camps) they plug them into networks 4Chan Gab where like-minded congregate and plot and plan the next attrocity @brandonlewis
They feed off the insecurities of people desperate for a sense of belonging, often poorly educated, with terrible social skills, often male and young blaming society for their troubles @tom_watson
Our media fuels it all. Unwittingly. They won't listen to anyone unless they 'have a title' - so if Far Right or Far Left get elected 'they have free media access' - so each time this person speaks media amplifies their hate, their rhetoric their fact (4 themes) free narrative
Biggest strength of liberal democracy is also is biggest weakness - tolerance and freedom of speech. We allow people seeking to throw dynamite into cracks in our society the chance to say so. This amplifies them - ergo media has a huge responsibility not to do so @TonyhallBBCDG

We have to fight it in a number of ways - Steve Bannon said he would flood the media with shit so it becomes impossible to identify the truth. Reverse that and flood the media with truth. There are millions of social media users already trying to do it individually - harness it
Cut off sources of funding and expose them - over the last decade hundreds of trillions of dollars have been money-laundered directly out of Russia and have disappeared into 'stooges' and 'oligarch bank accounts' - we need a war on this AND a war on offshore financial tax havens
