10 mins till polls close in Ukraine and the first exit polls start coming out but judging by the moods in the campaign HQs Zelensky is seeing good results.
It’s against the rules to quote exit polls before voting ends in Ukraine, unlike the US, but the campaigns have been getting the data throughout the day.
Absolute mad house at Zelensky HQ as the candidate arrive
Volodymyr Zelensky wins with an impressive 30% according to exit polls on the friendly 1+1 network. Looks like he’s going to the second round with the current President Petro Poroshenko who came in at a distant second with 18.5% 
A Poroshenko friendly channel also quoting exit polls showing Zelensky far ahead with Poroshenko in second place so this result is unlikely to be disputed by the incumbent #Ukraine
Zelensky’s victory in today’s vote in Ukraine represents strong anti-establishment sentiment here but not a lot is known about what he stands for. An interesting side note is that the only openly pro-Russia candidate - Boyko - came in with less than 10 percent, exit polls say

While Zelensky’s victory is unlikely to be disputed, a battle may break out over the second place slot. Poroshenko & Tymoshenko’s exit poll results are much closer together and both candidates will obviously want to be in round two in April. #Ukraine
Wow, Tymoshenko just said she won second place. This means there will be a fight between her and Poroshenko over who goes into the second round against Zelensky. #Ukraine
According to the Tymoshenko team’s exit polls she got 20.9 and Poroshenko got 17.5. Says she won’t challenge Zelensky’s first place slot. We will see what the electoral commission says tomorrow morning when the official numbers come in. #Ukraine
