If a library gives bad actors the ability to write and publish a book, distribute it to millions of locations, assist librarians in surveilling patrons then find those susceptible to conspiracy theories...(cont'd)
THEN hand a stack of 1000 books filled with insane disinformation to those susceptible patrons when they walk in the door, AND build rooms for all of them to discuss the theories and connect AND create millions of fake people who seem to also believe all the same crazy disinfo..
...and deploy those fake people to hang out in the chat rooms the "library" built AND then also go to the park and share disinformation with your children...all within the space of an hour or two...then yeah, I guess they're like a library.
👆 All within minutes, over and over, all day long. They knew, and they did nothing. They chose money (they call it "engagement") over the public good. And they still are.
