What's happening is very simple. America is being liquidated. We are increasingly crippled as a society and unable to make things, build things, learn things, move things.

The answer to the railroad fiasco, just as it is for airlines, is public regulation. The government should set prices and routes. Solutions are obvious. Put $$ into Puerto Rico and kick out Wall Street/corrupt local pols. Take patents away from pharma predators. Break up banks...

Most of our problems are easily solved. Not all of them, but many. The issue is that large swaths of our voters in both parties and our political leaders profit from the problems. I'm unpopular but you know this is why planes are falling out of the sky and everything is Comcast.
