Long thread. As long as the NDP are in power they will continue marching us toward a stronger state with less freedoms for citizens and less prosperity for all.

Led by chief of staff to John Horgan and former communist party member Geoff Meggs the NDP are increasing the power of government and eroding the freedoms of British Columbians.
How do they persuade citizens to give up their freedoms? Fear of course. Fear of corruption, fear of criminals, fear of money launderers.
In the name of catching 32,000 so-called “speculators” the NDP are forcing 1.6 million British Columbian’s to fill out data grabbing forms.

Next up. More scary money laundering reports and possibly a public inquiry. Alongside that will undoubtedly be proposals to increase the size of government and restrict freedoms further for British Columbians.

That the Clerk failed to brief out the one item on his call with JWR (SNC), something the PM was in a mood about, something the PM had spoken to Wernick about that very day. Because holidays.
(This, let’s remember, is the SNC call the PM *asked* the Clerk to make the *day after* PMO (Butts-Telford) hauled in JWR’s chief of staff to tell her to get in line (ie DPA) on SNC)

1) Raphael Lemkin, known as the father of the Genocide Convention, rejected the terms "Barbarity", "Mass murder", "Denationalization", "Germanization", "Magyarization" and many others to depict Hitler's attempt to annihilate the Jewish population.
2) He wanted a word that would - according to @AmbPower44 in her book "A Problem from Hell" - "connote a practice so horrid and so irreparable that the very utterance of the word would galvanize all who heard it". To Lemkin words mattered. So he came up with the word "Genocide".

Our attention has been drawn to a report of the House Committee on Emergency & Disaster Preparedness issued on Thursday,Nov 8, 2018, particularly in respect of funds released for “emergency intervention of food security to the NorthEast” in June 2017,when the VP was Ag President.
In its report, the Committee alleged that a sum of N5,865,671,939.26 was approved and released in June 2017 vide a Memo raised from the Office of the Acting President, directing the Honourable Minister of Finance and the Accountant General of the Federation to so act.

I think the starting point for commentary like this is to say that no death of any Nigerian at the hands of bandits & criminals is acceptable or justifiable. Even a single death is one too many. And one of the primary responsibilities of any Govt is security. That’s not in doubt.
So, this matter of ‘No Arrests No Prosecutions.’ It’s very far from true. The simplest of Google searches puts the lie to it.Also the Police regularly put out statements on large-scale arrests. I’ll share more links as part of this thread. This from Kaduna google.com/amp/s/punchng.…
