I could use a hug right now. Preferably from a patriot who’s dedicated his entire adult life to public service.
Hell, America itself could REALLY use a hug. I mean *really* use one. After 2 years of non-stop abuse, of gaslighting, immorality, and trauma...I would LOVE for a kind, decent patriot to just wrap us in his arms and let us let it all out.
Wouldn’t it be great to get a hug from an honorable, humble person who so loves his country, and so cherishes his friendships, that he openly weeps from the sheer joy and humanity of it?

It is no surprise Twitter targets accounts for “wrong think” or as we on the #Right like to call it “free-think” this is because of two events which are now totally and utterly inextricably linked, #Brexit and #Trump and the Establishment have been rocked to the core. 2/15
Neither of which were supposed to happen & yet they did now the Establishment is determined never to allow it to happen again or even at all, the reason for them happening was nothing to do with social media, but was to do with people knocking on doors and persuading others. 3/15

I saw George Takei speak last night about his life and career.
A life that has seen Japanese internment camps, the violence that accompanied the civil rights era, the struggle for LGBT recognition and basic dignities.
And a career that saw him offered roles as humiliating stereotypes and having to keep his most important relationships a secret to protect it.

Why not just go speak to the Grand Jury? Clearly, it's not about avoiding spending more time talking about the investigation and your experience...

Tutorial on how to make a map using QGIS. I'll turn @SenhorRaposa's 2000 Vermont town data into a map showing by how much Gore outran Senator Jeffords (or vice versa) in every town.
Step 1: Download QGIS for your computer, which is available here:
qgis.org/en/site/foruse…
You'll also need some of Census' Tiger/Line County and County Sub shapefiles. The main download page for those is here:
census.gov/cgi-bin/geo/sh…

A direct link to the 2017 VT county sub shapefile is here: ftp://ftp2.census.gov/geo/tiger/TIGER2017/COUSUB/tl_2017_50_cousub.zip
I can't find a 2017 County file by state, so we'll use the 2009 verison here:
