Since @mschlapp liked this tweet to support his allegation Obama surveilled Trump, I will point out that the GOP senator who released this text message couldn't say definitively what it referred to but suggested it concerned the FBI investigation of HRC's email controversy....
So @mschlapp, you one stab at relying on evidence falls flat. Sorry. Moreover, it could well be that the text refers to the FBI's investigation of the Russian attack on the election then underway, since....
Obama was on his way to a meeting in China where he would confront Putin about this intervention (which Donald Trump was falsely denying was happening). After all, wouldn't a POTUS want to know about a Russian attack? Well, at least a POTUS who gave a damn about nat. security.
.@mschlapp, you should really read more before playing this game and not rely on random tweeters with four followers. This article is not too long:

Answer me this. Why did Trump lie about his tower project in Moscow while a candidate? Why did Jr. agree to meet with a Russian emissary when told Moscow wanted to secretly help the Trump campaign? Why did The Trump campaign call the Russian attack on the DNC a hoax?....
Why did Papadoopulos, with the campaign’s approval, try to set up an “off the record” connection to Putin’s office after it was publicly reported Moscow was interfering in the election?....
And why did Trump during the campaign say there was no Russian intervention after being briefed by US intel community that there was? (BTW, Rs and Ds on congressional intel comms., the intel community, and Mueller all agree there was a serious Russian attack on US election.)

.@ChuckRossDC, the facts are not on your side. In the book, we reported the Steele memos were full of unconfirmed allegations. And we reported that there was little time in Moscow for Trump to have the alleged pee party....
We reported that Steele thought that allegation was at best 50-50.
I have repeatedly said Steele memo specifics were unproven. But I have said his first memo hit themes—Moscow attempting to cultivate Trump and interactions between Trump campaign and Russia—that did line up with information that emerged later.

Interesting point. So while cybersecurity experts were saying the Russians were the culprits—as we report in “Russian Roulette”—@ggreenwald was challenging this and taking handouts from a front (per Mueller) for Russian intelligence?
I don’t begrudge @ggreenwald or anyone else their skepticism of government sources. (Hey, @Isikoff and I wrote a book on Bush’s WMD con.) But there were other sources at the time. And perhaps a wee bit of skepticism was also warranted about Moscow’s and Guccifer 2.0’s denials.
After all, who wants to end up a part of a Russian operation to subvert a US election to help a paranoid and bigoted rightwing demagogue become president?

Twitter released the tweets of another 418 russian accounts on January 31.
I'm going to use this thread to take a look at the information they gave us about these accounts.
And talk about other bots and trolls you can find using this data.

Of the 418 accounts 1 was a double, @CovfefeNationUS it was already included in the last batch of accounts.
One was not actually suspended until I reminded them.
2 of them had active backup accounts at the time of publication of the data.
around 320 of the accounts I had tweeted about a lot. So i'm not going to bother going back over them.
I found them right after NBC put out the 1st batch of tweets from the russian trolls.
They were bots, and most of the data about what they did is unavailable.
