NEW: Michael Flynn's former biz associate, Bijan Kian - after successfully gaining access to records held by Flynn's onetime attorneys last week - has a status conference now scheduled for Friday, April 19 at 9AM. I'll be there for @CourthouseNews.

In a nutshell: Kian requested the extension, and the gov't agreed to it since they have much to sort through and he has a considerable amount of information to review after Judge Trenga denied Flynn's attys motion to quash subpoenaS for records.
The key info Kian is after in Covington and Burling + Flynn's former atty Kristen Verderame'S files: "important information regarding Flynn Intel Group registration under FARA" - at the heart of the indictment - and its "purported waiver of atty-client privilege."

The Muslim families who live in my building, of which there are many, always leave food in the lobby with a note offering it to any who need it.
The children are sweet & hold the door for me when I barrel through, even if they are 3 yrs old & not strong enough to hold it alone.
I was teary eyed in my elevator recently and a Muslim neighbor asked me if I was okay, I told him my mother had cancer, and I was having a hard time. He offered to pray for me and gave me his apt # and extended an invite for dinner with his family should I need it.
I often watch, without exaggeration, 20 children hold hands together, laugh & play as they run up the street w/parents and older family members to load into their cars as they head to worship. The laughter of this procession of children is my favorite part of this routine.

A bit of housekeeping on the Assange matter in EDVA, US Atty Gordon Kromberg will serve as counsel for the govt. If you have been with me a while, you may remember Kromberg from the Nick Young trial, an American cop convicted of providing material support to ISIS...
Kromberg's lawyering eventually led to a jury finding Young guilty.

I find this to be an interesting correlation because Kromberg was able to successfully argue the nuance of Young's support for ISIS at trial.

Young made two trips to Libya, claiming he was going there to help Libyans oust former leader Gaddafi.
The feds were monitoring him...
