Respond & re-tweet as you wish.
Be comfortable
Breathe
God is with us
It is God who welcomes us...
Grace, mercy & peace -
from God our Father,
& the Lord Jesus Christ -
be with you.
And with you
Psalm 148
Praise the LORD from the heavens; praise him in the heights above. Praise him, all his angels; praise him, all his heavenly hosts. Praise him, sun and moon; praise him, all you shining stars. Praise him, you highest heavens and you waters above the skies.
Psalm 148
Praise the LORD from the heavens; praise him in the heights above. Praise him, all his angels; praise him, all his heavenly hosts. Praise him, sun and moon; praise him, all you shining stars. Praise him, you highest heavens and you waters above the skies.
Lord God, let our Palm Crosses be signs of victory.
May we praise Jesus with our language.
May we praise Jesus with our actions.
May we praise Jesus with our love for others.
May these crosses remind us of his love for us.
Confession prayers:

Jesus - you come to us as Prince of Peace.
But we are people of war & anger.
Of spite & hurt.

In your mercy,
forgive us & help us.
Jesus - you come to us full of humility.
But we strive to be the greatest,
with pride in our hearts,
a people of oppression.

In your mercy,
forgive us & help us.
Jesus - you come to us as judge, offering forgiveness.
But we stick to our opinion that we're always right. Sin is familiar.

In your mercy,
forgive us & help us
Jesus - you come to us as a true King.
But we mistrust the powerful,
long for the power,
misuse the power,
or refuse to share anything with you.

In your mercy,
forgive us & help us.
Jesus - creation sings your praise.

Our lives are often silent & say nothing of you.

In your mercy,
forgive us & help us.
Fill our hearts & souls.
Help us to live & work to your praise and glory.

Amen
"Children of God - rejoice!
Your King approaches,
riding a donkey.
Your King approaches,
Prince of Peace!"

Hosanna!
The Lord is here!
God is present!
Glory to God!
A song:

Blessed be the name of the Lord
Matthew 21
The disciples went and did as Jesus had instructed them. They brought the donkey and the colt and placed their cloaks on them for Jesus to sit on. A very large crowd spread their cloaks on the road, while others cut branches from the trees and spread them on the road..
The crowds that went ahead of him & those that followed shouted, “Hosanna to the Son of David!” “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Hosanna in the highest heaven!” When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred & asked, “Who is this?”
I found this beautiful reflection by @Clairemaxim1 ...

A poem:

When fishes flew and forests walked
And figs grew upon thorn,
Some moment when the moon was blood
Then surely I was born.

With monstrous head and sickening cry
And ears like errant wings,
The devil’s walking parody
On all four-footed things....

(contd)
...
The tattered outlaw of the earth,
Of ancient crooked will;
Starve, scourge, deride me: words I've none,
I keep my secret still.

Fools! For I also had my hour;
One far fierce hour and sweet:
There was a shout about my ears,
And palms before my feet.

(GK Chesterton)
A song:

Rejoice!
A reflection:
1. A peaceful King.... Is that reassuring, or frightening?
2. The disciples obeyed, even when unsure... What feels uncertain right now?
3. The people praised, with songs of hope... Do you feel hopeful?
4. Jesus was good news... Do you know that in your life?
Prayers:

Heaven is here
And earth.
The space is thin between them.
Distance may divide,
but Jesus unites...

We hold before God -
those in power.....

That they may be wise...
Prayers:

Heaven is here
And earth.
The space is thin between them.
Distance may divide,
but Jesus unites...

We hold before God -
Those who are broken...

That they might become whole through the presence of the Holy Spirit...
Prayers:

Heaven is here
And earth.
The space is thin between them.
Distance may divide,
but Jesus unites...

We hold before God -
Those who are lost
Invisible
Believe themselves to be unloved & unloveable...

That they would know God who made them fearfully & wonderfully..
Prayers:

Heaven is here
And earth.
The space is thin between them.
Distance may divide,
but Jesus unites...

We hold before God -
Those whom we hate....

That we would let go
Let God deal with them, & us
Be free...
Prayers:

Heaven is here
And earth.
The space is thin between them.
Distance may divide,
but Jesus unites...

We hold before God -
Ourselves...

As we are.
Loved.
Beloved.
As Jesus taught his disciples, we pray the "Lord's Prayer"

Please Tweet the prayer in different languages....

Tweet English follows:
Father, yr name be holy
Yr kingdom & yr will,
here & now.
Daily bread, received.
Forgiveness received, & given freely.
Temptation refused, salvation received.
All comes from you
All is yours
Now
Forever
Amen
Final blessing:

Blessed is Jesus, who loves us extravagantly.
Amen.

Blessed is Jesus, who journeys with us faithfully.
Amen.

Blessed is Jesus, who calls us expectantly.
Amen.

Blessed is Jesus, who blesses us joyfully.
Amen. ...
And the blessing of God almighty -
Father, Son & Holy Spirit -
be with you,
this night,
& always.
Amen.
