Hyper-growth is great for your bottom line but not always your culture and comms. At some point, you’ll have to formalize comms. Putting effort into this pays off.
When I started formalizing comms at Atrium by holding all-hands, I honestly didn’t put too much thought or effort into it. But this was directly reflected in our culture and employee engagement.
I was even called out by employees that I didn't seem excited during all-hands and didn't smile, so now I pump myself up by doing push-ups before kicking it off. You have to find what works for you.
