The amount of spin and dishonest attacks against Barr tonight are really something. All from people who have no idea what he will say or what will be released tomorrow. Very revealing, especially with certain reporters insisting normal practices are somehow suspicious here.
They are attacking Barr’s character just because they don’t like the results, without any evidence he is doing anything out of bounds. It’s just a mirror of those on the right who attacked Mueller before they knew anything about what his investigation would find.
No, it is not suspicious that an AG releasing a major report would have an announcement press conference. No, he does not need to release it before the press conference (or even answer questions).

Also, most of the report will be public by tomorrow afternoon. If he spins anything dishonestly, it will be revealed shortly after. That's why these attacks are just attempts to preempt the possibility the report has conclusions they don't like.
