Ordered a WaterRower, after spending about a year (yes!) researching what home exerciser I should get, and quitting my gym membership. Will pick up from FedEx this pm. Anyone have tips for me?
I was leaning toward bike for a while bc smaller footprint, but I’m a big walker and I don’t have as much trouble with lower body calisthenics like squats as I do with upper body stuff due to excessive swinging (giant boobs, menopause sag). I know, TMI.
And I went with rower bc it has more upper body and core elements. Really sucks that I had to give up running. I am going for eval next month for a breast reduction. So that could change. Should have done it long ago, but your bulletproof level of sport bra used to do the job.
Also, the WaterRower has wheels on one end and doesn’t weigh much, so you can stand it up against a wall when you’re not using it. So footprint is less concerning, although I won’t be able to fit it next to TV chair as I had planned with the bike.
I’m the opposite of an “impulse buyer.” I research any big purchase for a ridiculously long time.
