the single biggest thing to understand about the democratic party is that it actually has no desire to hold, exercise, or be accountable for having power
truly, why would they do anything for you, the voters who elected them, since come the next election they can lose by just bare enough a margin to retain their nominal legitimacy, and when they can also just - once again - blame your asking too much for their loss
it's awesome that our "liberal" party is a deliberately self-defeating coalition of managerial technocrats who can't actually wield power, while on the other hand the "conservative" one is led by a transgressive monster who brooks no limits to it
at this point there appears to be more will and coordination among democratic legislators to punish and abandon Ilhan Omar than to impeach the president
just so inspiring. remember, friends: the party can never fail you - but you can fail the party. one more effort!
