I’m a Chomsky fan, and we can disagree about the level of Russian interference in the last election, but to call what we’ve learned about this administration’s antics from the Mueller report “minor corruption” is just plain wrong. Sorry.
Some of you are saying I pulled Chomsky's words "out of context", the context being specifically contacts with the Russians. But 1) why even narrow down the corruption issue in that way? And 2) even in terms of contacts with Russians, there was nothing "minor corrupt" about them.
And I say again, I remain a great admirer of Noam Chomsky and what he's contributed; I've met and interviewed him on more than one occasion and hope to do so again in the future; I just happen to think he's mistaken to minimize the Russia/Trump/corruption issue. Thanks :-)
