In December, DHS sent Congress a risk-based plan for improving border security. Since then, Trump declared a national emergency and at least $1 billion from the Pentagon's budget has been shifted to fund fencing. The report still hasn't been made public: americanoversight.org/american-overs…
In March, we filed a FOIA request along with @ACLU_Mass for the border security plan. DHS still has not provided the requested document. Yesterday, we sued. masslive.com/news/2019/04/a…
@ACLU_Mass The plan was required to “address the highest priority border security needs.” The public deserves to know whether the Trump administration has been misrepresenting the facts with its border-based rhetoric. americanoversight.org/american-overs…
