(1) Y'all think this is the first time Prince William has cheated on Kate?

Guys, he's been doing it forever. And Kate knew, & she knows it's part of the deal. She's not going to rock the boat.

Let me tell you what I've learned about the British royals in 35 years of watching.

(2) Charles and Diana did love each other. Despite all that's been said and done.

The problem is that she didn't realize what the deal was. Wishful thinking lulled her into the crazy idea that a highly-sexed attractive (back then) powerful man was going to change his lifestyle.

(3) I remember this photo being on a postage stamp in 1981. He did love her... even after their bitter public separation & divorce he sent a huge bouquet of flowers every birthday with a card that included the word love. It wasn't romantic love by then; it was close friendship.

(4) Charles' sister Anne was stunning. She dated Andrew Parker-Bowles, who later married Camilla, and the rest is history.

Anne continued her racy lifestyle after marriage, too. Her second marriage only occurred bc she got caught having a fling with a staffer.

(5) Princess Anne probably slept with her old flame Andrew P-B during both her first marriage to Mark Phillips, and her current marriage to Tim Laurence.

Nobody in their circle batted an eye then, or now.

(6) It is into this world that the 19 yo Kate Middleton eagerly entered, in 2001.

Trust me, she doesn't mind that her man has a wandering eye. She knew all along.

Never thought I'd say this but she's very well suited to her role as future Princess of Wales & Queen Consort.

(7) One of the last public photos taken of the Waleses together, at the VE Day 50th anniversary parade, 1995.

To us on the outside it seemed like they were at each others' throats the whole time but this is not so. William & Harry had the same close bond with both parents.

(8) This is a happy, strong family. Lessons were learned. There's no way William was going to marry someone who was going to put the monarchy at risk over personal issues.

None of the aristocratic girls he dated wanted the job. But Kate did, and she is perfect for it.

(9) Before 2011, pics were online of both William and Kate's late night drunken antics in bars and pubs around England, including during their 6-month long split in 2007. They're harder to find now, but the internet never forgets, nor do I. They've been through stuff before.

(10) The royal gossip machine is in full flight atm. Harry & Meghan's baby is due any day now, Kate is at home with the kids, & William is in New Zealand for ANZAC Day & to comfort the families of those taken on 15/3.

Gossip peddlers would have you believe it's all in crisis.

(11) I'm not the least bit concerned about any personal issues these four people are or are not having.

They are humans like the rest of us, with a private life and a public life.

I used to think Kate would eventually leave William but I don't see that happening, ever.

(12) Besides, hasn't the Markle family made the Middletons seem classy? LOL.

William and Kate know what their roles are, and they have planned for the long game. My confidence in the future of my mothership the UK has never been stronger.
