In other words, both the far right & the far left have "very similar" aims: totalitarian leadership. It is what sole rulers have in common - whether in Russia, North Korea or Saudi Arabia. It is also how business empires & investment firms like to operate - free from restraint.

Investment firms value independence & a free-market environment with less regulation, where they can more easily operate and avoid paying tax in their drive to accumulate wealth. With strategic buy-outs & investments, they take advantage of dynamic economic events - like Brexit.

EU member states must transpose the TAX AVOIDANCE DIRECTIVE into national laws and regulations by 31 December 2019. The directive faced strong opposition, and in 2015, Tory, UKIP & DUP MEP's voted against this planned crackdown on tax havens & evasion: medium.com/the-jist/was-e… …
