A few giant tech firms have gone way beyond just being standard private companies. They're more akin to utilities.
This is a modern problem that's never been seen before.
The big tech firms are more powerful than the media and most governments.
And they know it.

It's crunch time. They need to decide on if they want to lose their special legal protections as 'neutral platforms' or act accordingly and fairly to keep them.

People need to be able to speak, dissent, debate and converse in the public sphere.
It's essential for society.
It's a release valve for pressure and reduces polarisation.
If people can't talk, they will eventually fight physically.
