These 3 women say Amazon retaliated after they took part in a Dec protest. One said she saw her manager viewing social media of the protest and then he specifically said he saw that she had participated. She was upset when another mgr took a pic of her working with his phone 3/
In a letter to EEOC, another women said she “has had her everyday conversations repeatedly video recorded by her supervisors" at Amazon after she took part in the Dec protest 4/
The women also say that while they can take breaks to pray, the "rate" Amazon sets for the # of items they must pack/pick each hr doesn't change, so they and others feel they risk being fired if they pray... they call it a "hostile" environment to be Muslim 5/
Amazon says workers can pray whenever they choose and that it doesn't tolerate retaliation. It also says it's worked hard to prepare for Ramadan, training managers on the holiday and safety for fasting workers & letting workers choose night shifts to work when not fasting 6/6
