@MajorCBS asked the acting chief of staff for this week's very newsy episode of @TakeoutPodcast, which drops tomorrow...
Mulvaney: "I don't think we're going to take affirmative action to make [Guaido] become the leader."
"These missiles -- whatever they were, whatever you want to call them -- were very small." Mulvaney told @MajorCBS last night (before today's news), calling the launches a "very non-provocative provocation."
"I don't want to guess at the future, but we are not going to war in Iran," Mulvaney told @MajorCBS on the @TakeoutPodcast, which drops tomorrow. "I think what you're going to see is us over there to enforce and protect our interests."
Mulvaney: "This is just about trying to embarrass the president."
@MajorCBS: "What's embarrassing about his tax records?"
MM: "That's what they want to know."
MG: "But what is it?"
MM: "I have no idea and I don't care. And more importantly, voters don't care."
"To subpoena the president of the United States's son, and not at least get a heads up, I thought, was, let's say, bad form," Mick Mulvaney tells @MajorCBS on @TakeoutPodcast.
