Most of these women are being held pretrial, which means that they haven't been convicted of a crime--they simply can't afford to pay bail. The entire bail system is racist (and classist) as hell.
Money you donate at this point may not be in time to get a Black mom out to see her kids this Mother's Day, but it will be there next year to reunite her with her kids.
