I want to set the record straight for all those who mistakenly believe that PTI is paying back any loans, or has reduced any government expenditure, or reducing the budget deficit. It is doing none of that. In fact it is doing the opposite.
PTI will run a deficit of Rs 2700 b. Not only do IK and AU have the dubious distinction of running the highest ever absolute deficit in Pak’s history, but at 7.2% of GDP it is higher than any deficit ever run by PMLN. In fact 7.2% is one of the highest deficits in Pak’s history.
In 5 yrs PMLN added Rs 11,000 b to total debt, as the debt increased from Rs 14000 to Rs 24592b. (PTI has now admitted these facts in the Senate. I have been saying it since last year). With this PMLN built power, roads, etc. But in this one year PTI will add Rs 5000b to the debt
PTI’s adding debt at more than twice the speed of PMLN without any infrastructure. So not only is PTI not paying back debt, it is borrowing new debt at the fastest pace in history. In one year PTI will add more to the nat’l debt than were added in the first 40 years of our nation
IK has added more debt than was added by all leaders from Quaid to Gen Zia. Let that sink in. This by a politician who said reducing debt was his mission.

PMLN left a good economy for PTI, growing at 5.8% with inflation at 4%. But the economy IK and Asad Umer are giving to Hafeez Sheikh is much worse. Growth has halved and inflation has doubled. I feel badly for HS. But Pakistanis are actually paying the price of PTI’s incompetence
Our people cannot find jobs. People find it hard to make ends meet. Gas & power are more costly. Patients are paying 3 times for medicines. More Pakistani children are not getting enough to eat & are getting stunted. All due to PTI’s incompetence & falsehoods. Let that sink in
