Islam & Women, what you weren't told.

Men were created to excel women and for this reason, they are in charge of the women. Good women are obedient and docile, and if they are not, Muslim men are allowed to beat their wives (Quran 4:34)

Muslim women would be cursed by the angels till morning if she refuses to have sex with her husband (Sahih Al Bukhari 3065). No need for consent amirite?

Muslim men were allowed to rape the wives of the men captured in war. The verse that allowed for this rape (Quran 4:24) and the context (Sunan Abu Dawud 2150) are below.

Women aren't only intellectually inferior to men, they are also morally inferior to men. The sheer deficiency in women's intellect, and the ungratefulness overwhelm the men of wisdom. (Sahih Bhukhari 304)

In Islam the witness of a woman is half that of a man (Quran 2:282), and when asked to clarify this, the apostle of Allah attributes it to women being stupid, in his words, "the deficiency of the female mind" (Sahih al Bhuhari 2658)

When immigrant women refused to give consent for certain sexual positions, the issue was brought to the prophet, (Sunan Abu Dawud 2159) after which Allah 'revealed' verse 223 of Surah al Baqarah.

in 2014, World Economic Forum conducted their own report and found that 18 of the 20 worst countries, in terms of the gender gap, are Muslim majority countries. Dare I say the Quran is the greatest source of misogyny and oppression the world has ever seen.

The prophet's child bride, Aisha said she has not seen women suffer as much as the believing women after a Muslim woman came to her complaining of the green bruises left from her husband beating her (Sahih al-Bukhari 5825). If you expect Mo to condemn this act then you're wrong.

Surah 4:34 allows men to beat their wives into submission, can the wives beat their husbands?
Surah 4:3 Men are allowed to have 4 wives, women are allowed 1 husband.

Surah 33:59 Women have to wear veils, men do not.
Surah 4:24, 23:6, 70:30 Muslim men can have sex with their captive slave girls.
Surah 4:11 Women inherit half of what her male siblings inherit.

Islamic teachings are based on the fantasy of a man who lived in the desert 1400 years ago. Whitewash it all you want but the fact of the matter is Islam has always and will always be a misogynistic, racist, sexist, piece of literature used by bigots to bypass rational morality.

Islam will never stand for feminism or the empowerment of women, anyone who says so are living a life in delusion. This is just the tip of the iceberg.
