In my view, the best argument that Kavanaugh might not overturn Roe v. Wade was that he had genuine and profound respect for precedent—that he wouldn't vote to overturn a decision simply because he thought it was wrong.

That argument went out the window today.
Wow: Breyer hoists a red flag today, writing: "Today’s decision can only cause one to wonder which cases the Court will overrule next."

And, as if to answer his own question, he cites Planned Parenthood v. Casey.

@washingtonpost My piece on all this. Justice Breyer knows what the conservative majority is doing. He's helpless to stop it, but he's hoisting a red flag as high as he can.
