If information is infinite, then you can create a "perfect" virtual world which in itself must contain a perfect virtual world (and on). An infinite set can contain infinite subsets. Upshot is, if it is infinite then the likelihood of reality being real is precisely zero ... ->
... fortunately our escape button is the "perfect" aspect. It's not ever possible to achieve this because of uncertainty principles. Hence we will never be able to create that "perfect" world thereby demonstrating that we're not actually real.
The best we can achieve is always "approximation" never perfect. There will always be better models, no matter how much data you have. In an odd way, our "reality" depends upon it. Or as cavemen put it "what do you get if you multiply six by nine" (excluding base 13).
