I'm pro choice because I do not think government should have the power to mandate a person provide their body and blood to another person.

Of course Twitter is a trash medium for nuance and discussion but thats about the best I can get to simplifying my position.
The abortion issue is one of the most difficult ethical questions we face and I dont have any good answers.
I just know that we need to stop talking past each other and try our best to understand the perspective of others

I'm going to be setting up a fact checker / database of journalists and news orgs.

We will randomly sample 100 articles and give a score of X/100

Any violation of journalistic ethics will result in a strike.
Thus scores will look like

73/100 articles are credible and ethical
We will likely do a new random sampling every 6 months and re review the site and/or journalist

Article not labeled opinion? Strike
Fake news? Strike
Misrepresenting data? Strike
We will publish ALL analyses in a spread sheet of every article, the articles will be archived.

There will be an explanation for our reason for striking an article.

Carlos Maza of Vox has called for the physical assault of people in order to humiliate them. He then is outraged that someone makes fun of him online resulting in his humiliation.

Maza insinuates then that an authority or 'principal' like figure needs to enforce rules
Maza is a hypocrite and authoritarian trying to use his identity to get someone banned because they criticized him.

I'm sorry but you can't simultaneously encourage nearly 100k people to assault others then get mad someone called you names
The fact that he, a grown adult with access to one of the biggest platforms in the world, is calling for a "teacher or principal" like figure to enforce the rules he demands while also calling for assault shows him to be an authoritarian.

Twitterati Left outraged this was reported on
University students even criticized the decision.

Why a disgraced fact checker turned activist was given a teaching role at a university is newsworthy. Following up on the cancellation is also newsworthy.

What a coincidence that 'journalists' are outraged that Jon reported this
Its because these 'journalists' are the same type of activist infiltrating the media space.

The same people who write smears and fake news, the same people who call companies and ask why certain groups are using these services and then get them banned

A point rarely made in the abortion debate is that many women considering an abortion are not choosing between having a child and not having a child, but between having a child now and having a child later––when they're better able to provide for it.
The first situation pits a world with N lives against a world with N+1 lives. The second situation pits a world with N+1 lives against a slightly better world, also with N+1 lives––a world in which a mother is better able to provide for her child.
If the goal is to maximize happiness for the greatest number, then abortions in category 2 clearly help achieve this goal. (Abortions in category 1 can go either way.)

What % of abortions are in the second category? I have no idea. But anecdotally, it's substantial.

Using "psychological operation" as a term calls to mind conspiracy theories, intelligence activities, etc., which are legitimate considerations of course. However, since we are dealing human communication, the ancient art of rhetoric is always on the table of analysis.
